Dr. Kern, a Wyoming County native, is a dry eye expert serving her community with state-of-the-art treatments and diagnostics. Born in Tunkhannock and a Lake-Lehman High School alumna, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors from The Pennsylvania State University and a Doctor of Optometry from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She furthered her education by earning a certification in laser procedures.

Dedicated to personalized, preventative medicine, Dr. Kern focuses on treating underlying causes tailored to each patient. She founded Lux Eye Spa to address the growing issue of dry eye disease.
